Roger Sahyoun

An entrepreneur, leader and creative visionary, Roger Sahyoun has spearheaded the formation and establishment of AGA ADK advertising and marketing. After an illustrious career in the marketing department of the Universal Bank of Beirut, Roger marked his foray into the advertising industry by joining TEAM Y&R and was part of its opening in the UAE.

Eight years later, and having acquired a wealth of experience, Roger decided to open up his own advertising agency. AGA ADK was born in Beirut in March 1997 with its second office, and subsequent headquarters, opening up in Dubai in October 1997. The agency has since enjoyed phenomenal growth across the MENA region as well as a global affiliation with Asatsu-DK Inc (ADK), Japan’s 3rd largest advertising network, and a strategic alliance with the WPP group.

 

Roger’s hands-on approach to business leadership and management sees him actively involved in the running of business pitches and strategy implementation. His career boasts a host of milestones, including the formation of THE NETWORK Communication Group and the agencies that fall within its portfolio, namely Pencell PR & Events, Equation Media and wetpaint Digital Solutions.

 

With a keen interest in interior design and décor, and his love for collecting rare timepieces Roger expanded his passion into business by founding Alam Al Saat wal Moujawharat, the region’s leading Arabic magazine for watches and jewellery and by also becoming a shareholder in I-Magine Interior Design.
